Real Sociedad announced midfielder veteran’s leaving team



Real Sociedad officially announced that Defending Midfielder Gorka Elustondo who joined Spanish youth team in 2004 has already left the team.

Elustondo is 28 years old this year and he joined the youth team in 2004. He has spent his career in Real Sociedad.

The contract between Elustondo and Real Sociedad will expire in summer. The team has also confirmed that he will leave the team and appreciated the contribution he has made to the team, as well as wished him every success in the future.

Elustondo can play as Defending Midfielder and centre half back. He played for 19 times in La Liga last season and scored one goal.

Elustondo played for twice for Spain U20 National Youth Team. He followed the Spanish U19 National Youth team to win European Championship in 2006, then he also followed Real Sociedad to win the championship of the Segunda División in 2010.
