Italian media: Manchester United lead the battle of competing for getting Romero



According to Italian media, in the transfer battle of competing for getting Argentina national goalkeeper Romero, Manchester United is in the lead position.

Currently, the contract between Romero and UC Sampdoria club has expired, so he became a free agent. Rome, Spanish and Manchester United are all very interested in Romero.

A few days ago, Romero's agent has been in negotiations with the Associazione Sportiva Roma officials. Italian media revealed that Associazione Sportiva Roma offered him a two-year contract, but the deal has not yet to complete.

However, Sky Sports says that Manchester United was in a leading position in the battle for Romero's transfer.

The report has also pointed out that Romero might be going to Manchester United if Associazione Sportiva Roma does not raise its offer
