Kanpur: Borussia Dortmund will return to the Champions League next season



Dortmund midfielder Kanpur firmly believes that Dortmund will surly return to the Champions League next season with the current line-up and players’ ability in the team.

Coach Klopp left Dortmund after ending the disappointing season 2014-2015. His position is succeeded by 41-year-old German coach Tuchel. Dortmund reinforced the several positions of midfield and goalkeeper and others this summer, aiming to return to the Champions League next season.

Kanpur said: "When you are playing for Dortmund, you burden with too many expectations, those expectations are from the heart. We will impact the seat of the Champions League next season. I think that the team finally can enter the top three. The level of the team is high. I think we will be able to complete the task of returning to the Champions League. "                    

Last season, the 24-year-old Slovenian Kanpur played 16 matches for Dortmund including 9 starts and 1 assist. He will play an important role in Tuchel's team next season.
